Supporting Diverse Learners with High Expectations
We recognize that students learn in different ways and at different paces. Our goal is to provide meaningful support while maintaining high expectations and fostering student confidence, ownership, and growth.
Student support begins in the classroom through strong Tier 1 instruction, differentiated learning opportunities, scaffolding, and responsive teaching practices designed to support all learners. Teachers utilize gradual release of responsibility strategies that help students move from guided support toward increasing independence and self-advocacy over time.
When students require additional support, our Student Support Team collaborates with classroom teachers and families to provide targeted interventions, accommodations, enrichment opportunities, and individualized strategies designed to help students access learning successfully.
