Preschool - 8th Grade

Music at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School helps students develop creativity, confidence, discipline, collaboration, and joyful self-expression while deepening their appreciation for music as both an art form and a form of worship.

Students engage in a comprehensive music program aligned to national music standards, developing skills in:

• Rhythm and beat
• Vocal technique and performance
• Music literacy and notation
• Listening and musical analysis
• Movement and creative expression
• Collaboration and ensemble performance

Students participate in performances and liturgical music experiences throughout the year, building confidence and stage presence while learning the value of preparation, teamwork, and artistic expression.

Beginning in 4th grade, students participate in choir and support weekly school Masses through singing and cantoring leadership opportunities. Older students also engage in vocal arrangements and collaborative performance experiences that strengthen musicality and leadership.

Music at OLL helps students experience the joy of performance, the power of community, and the beauty of using their gifts to enrich the life of the school and parish community.
