School Commission

Faithful Leadership. Shared Vision. A Stronger Future.

The Our Lady of the Lake School Commission serves as a trusted advisory body that partners with the principal and pastor to support the long-term vitality and mission of our school. Rooted in faith and guided by a shared commitment to Catholic education, the Commission helps ensure that OLL continues to provide an exceptional learning environment where every student is seen, celebrated, and supported.

Comprised of dedicated parent, parish, and community leaders with diverse professional expertise, the School Commission works to strengthen OLL through strategic planning, policy development, financial stewardship, enrollment growth, advancement, facilities planning, and long-range visioning.

Our Purpose

The School Commission focuses on the "big picture" of school leadership, helping guide decisions that ensure the continued success and sustainability of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic School for generations to come.

Working collaboratively with school leadership, the Commission provides thoughtful counsel and support in areas including:

  • Strategic Planning
  • Catholic Identity & Mission
  • Financial Sustainability
  • Enrollment & Marketing
  • Advancement & Fundraising
  • Facilities & Campus Planning
  • Policy Development
  • Community Engagement

While the principal is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the school, the School Commission serves in an advisory capacity, offering expertise, insight, and support that advances the mission of OLL.

Who Serves on the School Commission?

School Commission members are volunteers who bring a wide range of professional experiences and personal gifts to their service. Members include current parents, parishioners, alumni, and community leaders who are passionate about Catholic education and committed to helping OLL flourish.

Together, they share a common purpose: ensuring that future generations of students continue to benefit from an outstanding Catholic education rooted in faith, academic excellence, and service.
